Social Media

Producing online content was one of my favorite things to do at my social media internship at Papelpop - Entertainment Website. Engaging a young and active audience through funny and interesting content – something that the outlet's fun and uncomplicated language allowed me to do with ease – was a task that I did with a lot of passion, and take a lot of pride in.

Before my hiring, Papelpop's social media accounts lacked consistency and originality.  My presence in the administration and content development for their social media accounts guaranteed a growth of more than 50 thousand followers/likes in each of their official social media pages in a year. My abilities as a graphic designer also added a lot of credibility to the content posted and was a form to make sure that the content was posted even faster to assure that the momentum – which bolsters the successful performance of any online content – was not lost.

Here are some of my favorites and most engaged content produced:

#GRAMMYs

Making and sharing content for music lovers is not such a simple thing to do when we're talking about a 3-hour long award show. However, I guess that when Beyonce is in it, the challenge to cover the 2017's Grammy's became quite an exciting experience.

#OSCARS

In February 2017, I was responsible for covering one of the most anticipated cinematic celebrations of the year. The amount of content and conversations brought to the public on that year's Academy Awards was any social media professional's dream.

#VMAs

The MTV Video Music Awards has always been an iconic night of pop culture celebration. On its 2017 edition, I was responsible for ensuring that Papelpop's Twitter audience was tuned in and involved with all the performances, standout artists, and winners throughout the night.

Instagram

Producing and posting content for the company's Instagram was one of my major tasks during my social media internship. The main goal was to always share the latest news with a very uncomplicated and succinct language/tone, as well as creating fun posts that resulted in organic engagement and sharing actions.
